Worst Job
I started working at age 13 doing babysitting and a paper route. It was easy to get into fast food jobs so that is where I worked for many years including A&W , Orange Julius, and yes McDonalds! I also worked at a hospital as a caterer and service attendant. The worst job ever was working as a housekeeper cleaning up after other people. Not only was it back breaking work and low pay, cleaning the toilets was so disguisting! After a summer of doing this I became the team leader and my responsibilities no longer required me to clean toilets. Hallelujah!!! I made the shift to working with children in the school setting when my first child started preschool by volunteering. She is 24 now. I have been working in schools since then. Including being a wife and a parent, being a teacher is and has been the most educational and rewarding job that I have ever done!

Hi Karla, Yes cleaning the bathroom is the worst job! In college I cleaned an apt. in a sorority house for the house mother, it wasn't too bad she was very neat and I only did it a few times while she was recovery from an illness. I wonder if they still have house mother's, probably not. I am showing my old age. Mary
I love that Cartoon on you post Karla.

Hi Karla,
I use to have a paper route and I babysat a lot too! Babysitting helped me see how difficult it is to take care of children. The paper route provided a bases for a strong work ethic. Did you have to go door to door to collect the newspaper dues? I hate that part of the job.

I would have thought the worst job was working at McDonalds, there is just something about fast food that creeps me out. However, having to scrub someone else's toilet has to be the worst!
